Great job on the design of your site. Everything looked very custom and professional. It's a niche market and you target your market beautifully. Graphics look original, page design is consistent throughout the site. Some links opened in new windows, others opened in the same window, there did not seem to be the same consistency here.

CP, my man, My name is Andy Fadel, and I don't know if you remember me, but I heard you play at a blues club in New Orleans in the spring of 2003. You changed my life man. I heard you sing and I was absolutely changed by the way you sing blues. Then I requested Sweet Home Chicago, and you let me sing the whole song with the band. Now I'm here in Naperville, and I'm trying to put together a blues band. I look forward to when I can see you perform again. God bless New Orleans, God bless America, God bless you, and God bless the BLUES!

Trying to keep it brief: I have been looking for an old friend Nicole Douget from New Orleans. I new her in San Jose Ca. She spoke frequently of her "little brother Derek". After all kinds of Googling, I found Nicole mentioned as part of a dedication on Derek Douget's album which is on this site. If anyone who sees this knows either of them or if someone from LMF can contact Derek, please get my info to her. I am thinking of you every day Nicole, and I hope you and your family are safe.

Was in your shop this last April with my son, and was one of the highlights of our trip for both of us. Found three albums I have been looking for for years; you guys have a better jazz and swing section than Amoeba in SF. Am monitoring your site, and rest assured we will be ordering from you guys once you are back in the saddle. We wish you the best from the rainy state of Washington!

Things must be rough (worse than I thought) - but please pull together, have faith and keep on working. So many people care about you & your neighbours. All the best under the circumstances.

Mes a mie,
I've loved Cajun music anf food since I first danced to Jolie Blond at a country dance here in Fort Worth. I've also heard it called "Shank-a-shank". Is that the same thing ? The combination of instruments, e.g. fiddle and accordion makes it similar to South Texas conjunto music. So glad to know that your shop weathered Katrina.
One request: Can you tell me the date of the International Cajun Music Festival ?

I started on my quest to search for some information on the History of Jazz for my class and the first website led me to the home of Jazz "New Orleans." In one aspect as the information began to unfold to me it was perfect w/all that has happened w/hurricane Katrina, but the other hand a perfect opportunity to stay in rememberance of what has taken place.
I will take this platform to teach my young ones about the legacy and the loss in the city of New Orleans.
There has been much devastation, but New Orleans and the children espescially are in my prayers.
