| NOTES: This CD is a compilation of Louisiana themed songs inspired by events in my life. "Operation Gumbo Drop" and "You Don't Even Know Me" were a result of my travels with a group of Louisiana's finest Cajun's known as "The Gumbo Krewe". We cooked and served gumbo and jambalaya at Ground Zero after September 11th, feeding the firefighters, police and rescue workers there. "You Don't Even Know Me" was later written when we fed the first marines that were coming home from Afghanistan at Camp Le June, North Carolina. This song is for all the men and women who protect and serve our country. |
