The film soundtrack for Marcel Camus’ film Black Orpheus, written by Antônio Carlos Jobim, Luiz Bonfá, Vinícius de Moraes & Antônio Maria. Among the musicians heard here are Luiz Bonfá and Roberto Menescal on guitar, as well as the vocals of Elizeth Cardoso and Agostinho dos Santos. Includes the classic songs “Manhã de Carnaval” and “Samba de Orpheus.” Three songs from the film recorded shortly after by the great Joâo Gilberto have been added as a bonus.
