Notes

Born in Carencro, Louisiana in 1915, Aldus Roger began playing the Cajun accordion at age eight. His father didn’t want him to play accordion, however he would borrow one and play it in the barn. Roger led his group, the Lafayette Playboys for over twenty years. During the late 50s and 60s, he hosted his own music program on KLFY-TV 10 in Lafayette. Legend Series contains some of his very best recordings.
